How your full day goes

1. Meet your guide

We start at the river we picked together for your dates and experience level. I go over the plan and the gear.

2. Walk and wade

We fish on foot, walking and wading the river. I read the water with you and adjust flies and technique as we go.

3. Lunch and drinks

We take a lunch break on the river, with drinks, before getting back to fishing for the rest of the day.

4. Photos and wrap-up

I take photos and video of your day, and you get them free.

Cataract Creek during a full day of fly fishing

Fish you may meet on your full day: rainbow trout, westslope cutthroat, brown trout, brook trout, bull trout and Rocky Mountain whitefish. On request, we can also look at Arctic grayling in rivers, lake trout in large, deep lakes, or golden trout in high mountain lakes. On our guided trips, every fish is released unharmed. See all fish species.
